I'm sitting at the computer this afternoon writing a droll paper on wastewater (ew!) for English Comp class.  I am really into writing about poopy water, when all of a sudden I hear:
"one, two, free, four, fie, sie, seben, nie, ten".  It was my son counting to ten (minus the eight) while scooting down the stairs.  It was such a cute, surprising development, and I am so proud of him.  My little Owen is 3 and was diagnosed with Autism last year.  He goes to a VE Pre-K program that is really helping him with some aspects of learning.  I can't wait to tell his teacher!

That's terrific news! My nephew has autism as well. My wish is for all children afflicted with this to be cured. My brother-in-law has done many things for my nephew many of which have helped. Autism is becoming an epidemic that must be stopped.
