Hi everyone,
I am having a hard time thinking of a Christmas gift for my stepdad. He has been really great this year, my mom has been very sick with cancer and all the treatments and he has been wonderful. She was Very sick over his birthday so we didn't really do anything for him, I feel bad about that and want to make it up to him over Christmas.
I know that there are a lot of good shoppers on Gather and lots of ideas out there! He tends to buy himself things that he needs which makes shopping for him hard.
He likes orchids, he has a lot that he has raised from little plants. He like crossword puzzles and movies but they have net flix. I want to do something special for him but I'm feeling clueless, any ideas would be great!

Something to give him a mental break, maybe? A care basket of things he can pamper himself with? Book(s) of crosswords, something he'd like to read? Gift certificate(s) so he can order take out by delivery so he doesn't have to cook and have something he wouldn't ordinarily do for himself? Can someone take over for him and send him out for a day for himself (if he doesn't usually get this and it's possible)(could be represented by handmade coupons in the basket)? Tickets to something he'd enjoy?

Maybe I can earn enough Gather points to get him a Boarders card, that would be fun!
