Angela took First and Second at her Middle School: Reflections Update

The call came from the middle school last night. Angela's photos took both first and second in the Reflections contest - photography at her middle school. The judges do not know who took the different photos, because names are not on them.  They wouldn't have known she took both photos. I know, I was a judge for one of the elementary schools. It's not until the numbers are matched up to the names that the winners are known. I still don't know the names of the children whose photos I placed first, second, and third. I do know in one grade the same child took first and third.

Anyway, both of Angela's photos went on to the county. We only know that her praying mantis finished one or two, since it went on to the district level. We still don't know how the Maggie shot did at the county level.

The reception/banquet for the district Reflection winners is November 20th at Alatoona High School (in a different county). Until that night, we only know that Angela placed. Angela now knows and has been "happy dancing" around the house. She also found out that one of her good friends won the drawing portion of the Reflections contest.
