Carl Cameron of Fox News, among others, have reported that McCain insiders (staff) have been telling tales of Sarah Palin's intellectual challenges (referred to as knowledgability) and wild shopping sprees across the country. The shopping spree talk (remember the $150,000 question?) is now apparently coming from within the campaign itself.
It was, perhaps, only a matter of time. Somebody was bound to end up thrown under the bus. The question remains, however, as to who is to blame for the McCain/Palin loss.
Any thoughts?

He sold his soul to the devil.
He sold his soul to the social conservatives in order to win the primary and was unable to find his way back to the center for the general election, all the while wearing the albatross of GWB around his neck.
No one need throw Palin under the bus. Just let her speak freely and she will expose her shortcomings for all to see.
She may end up as the second coming of Ted Stevens after she worms her way into his seat.
She throws others under the bus...it's called karma.
A steep learning curve means that something is easy to learn. The x axis is time and the y axis is mastery. If the learning curve is straight up it means it takes very little time to learn.
Speak for yourself. I, at least, knew the right answers to the questions she didn't.
i also agree with trista, i think bush might have ruined the republican party for most people!
Here's another one to ponder: Is Chicken of the Sea fish or is it chicken?
I hear they are sending someone up to Alaska to get all that she received from the campaign.
Kind of like a shake down.
We knew Sarah Palin was an effective governor with 80% approval but we also knew Sarah Palin did not know anything about the rest of the world because she could not say anything about it.
I am enjoying it. The more they say, the more it shows how much they were lying to people and also shows how ignorant Palin really is.
That said, she can learn foreign policy. She has qualities that can't be learned. But she was not ready. She was pretty ignorant and her party was celebrating ignorance.
A recent poll of republicans asked who should be the leader of the party going forward. 33% Romney, 30% Huckabee and 18% Palin. The more traditional small government, fiscal conservatives are going to back Romney while the social conservatives go for Huckabee and a few populists hang on to Palin.
This is not just a schism, it will be a civil war.
The fact that she had no idea what countries were included under NAFTA is also indicates a frightening disregard for the knowledge necessary to govern. We had 8 years of this kind of disregard and that was more than enough.
And the media of course is trying to stem major ratings drops now that the election is over.
