As luck would have it, our family moved house on November 1st (one of the traditional Moving Days of the Fae, actually). I love our new home and have felt welcomed here from the very first. I thought I'd share a look at our new haven. Here is how the house appears from the road...

The front door and porch where we are already making ourselves at home...

The view from our porch...

Grandmother Pine who lives on the South side of the house, and our Rogue sniffing...

Grandmother really is amazing...

One of our new neighbors passing by the kitchen window this morning...

The beginning of the back yard...

And some of my new Tree friends...

Finding this home at this time has been a tremendous blessing, and I hope we will enjoy living here for many years to come.
Wishing you laughter

I could debated some of this author's Do's and Don'ts, but found the article interesting...

May 1st and November 1st are considered to be traditional "Moving Days" of these elemental creatures... While the British Isles boasts some of the most detailed lore, these creatures can be found in every culture... the Leshis and Rusalkas of Russia... the Duendes of Mexico, the Thunderbirds and many powerful Spirit Beings of Northern America, the Dragons and other magical beings like the artist found in the tale of Tiki Pu from China... http://hss.blogsky.com/1387/07/21/post-74/ ... talking animals from bears to birds, shapeshifters of all sorts, godmothers and many others can be found around the world.
