It's been cool and dreary here lately and I haven't been out and about taking photos. Today is kind of boring so I decided to go out back and feed the ducks. While I was with the ducks I happened to realize that fall has really arrived and I had to capture some photos of our first fall season here in Myrtle Beach to keep as a memory. Here is just an example of fall in my neck of the country. When we moved here we were told that we wouldn't get much color and we would really miss the fall seasons we were used to. They were right, it isn't quite as magnificent as the northeastern parts of Pennsylvania, but maybe because it's just little bits and pieces of color here and there blending in with the green colors that it seems so vibrant and beautiful. See for yourself.

This tree is usually dark green all summer but fall has turned it into a real beauty. You can also see the red berries in the bushes along the buildings. This is across the pond.

Also across the pond, looking up to the top of the building I spotted this splash of red where the green leaves of the tree are becoming more brilliant as the days go by.

This beautiful tree is right out side my back door. It's green also all summer but look how fall has completely transformed it into gorgeous shades of red.

On each side of my screen door of my back porch I have these tall bushes that have flowers in the summer and these small blue berries in the fall and winter.
Below are photos of a different kind of bush that also has a few flowers in the summer and different blue berries in the fall and winter. The leaves also are starting to turn red.

Fall is turning out to be pretty here in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Thank you for posting this to Hit Me With Your Best Shots
At least you do get some color.
Do you miss the snow and cold? :-)
No I do not miss the cold and snow at all Bobbi. I'd be stuck in the house by this time of year and my knees would be aching like a toothache:(
Cristina, I'm so glad I did. While I miss family and friends I do not miss the cold, snow or gray days.
I miss the beautiful fall colors, so this was a welcomed sight!
U wishing you laughter
