Now that the election is over, I can post the photos I took at the Roswell Children's Parade here in Georgia.
The parade began with the runners...they ran the parade route, which happens to be a 5K.

Next came the fire trucks and emergency vehicles. Since I took LOTS of photos, I tried to get the most interesting...

The color guard and horseback riders....glad the horses didn't leave any "presents" since a lot of candy was tossed.
The theme of the parade was going green/recycling, so every float was suppose to follow that theme.

Notice the GT (Georgia Tech) on the side of the car...it just calls for a comment, but I'll be nice.

I don't get the duck. I saw the duck, but I don't get it.

All the different candidates seemed to be represented...FYI Tom Price won his election with something like 69% of the vote.

There were at least 3 different bands. My daughter thinks she wants to join marching band when she gets in high school.

This is a Cub Scout Float.

There were quite a few floats for the size of the parade.

There were dance teams, gymnastic teams, and almost any sports team in the parade.

Of coarse the cows were there. Gotta love the cows. Angela even got a small cow that the float threw out to the kids.

This float was made by one of the local elementary schools. I thought it was really neat.

I didn't understand Cruella De'Ville being in the parade either, but she did throw candy at us.

School mascot

This was another float from an elementary school.

No, I don't know why the truck is dressed as a bee....
These are the first photos...I have more (and Pher's in a few)....I didn't get photos of all the floats, because the parade was moving quite quickly. I couldn't believe the parade lasted just over an hour either.
