Well I noticed a lot of people have posted their Christmas wish lists and decided to do so also.Mine is pretty simple and does not contain any material things because I get enough of those already. However I would love it if all of my Gather friends could help out with this list that I am making. I think it will help not only the person who is receiving the goodness , but it will help those doing it as well.
1* Go through your cupboards and pick out 5-10 items and donate them to your local food shelter. Often places have boxes for donations as well.
2* When you are passing someone on the sidewalk politely say hello. Even if they do not speak you are showing human kindness in speaking and you might be pleasantly surprised
3* Visit your local animal shelter volunteer to help with the animals, drop off some food, or make a donation of some sort. So many shelters are overwhelmed and need support especially the smaller ones.
4* Spend time enjoying the holidays with family and friends. Do not get caught up in the rush of things. I have got caught up in the season and actually did not enjoy it , instead of doing that reflect on things that matter .
5* Let the guy behind you in line with one item go ahead. It will not only make his day , but he or she will more than likely be very thankful.
6* Let those you love know it. Whether it be by card or phone.
7* Remember what the season is all about. Remember the reason. Reflect and Enjoy!
I really would love to get everything on this list. No need to ship any of it to me just do it and let me know :)
I plan on doing all of the above !
And last but not least....
Smile and enjoy life every single second of it!
