On my TV screen, Barack Obama is about to surpass the 270 EV count to become the President-Elect.
This is the proudest moment for this country in my lifetime. I never beleived I would live to see the day when we as a nation overcome our history and break free of the prejustices of the past.

My son said he's never been so ashamed to be an American. I told him not to worry, that God will protect us against Obama...I am so angry, my hands are shaking.

It's great to be an American to be able to talk about these things.....I am very excited that Obama has been elected..it shows that the people of the USA know that a big change is needed and that Obama is the one to help lead that change! It won't be easy and allllll of the critics will be watching and saying that the changes aren't coming fast enough...but being steadfast as Obama is......things will happen!!!!!
