IT"S DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!!!!!

Ohhhhh Gather is driving me crazy..... When I want to view and comment on photos they all go away and take forever to come back!   It's almost impossible to comment on any photos!  Who has the time to sit and wait until they all reappear?  I know I don't!  Is this happening to anyone else?  If it is, I hope that Gather does something about it QUICK~  If it isn't....... I give up!!!!!!

I just tried uploading a picture, and I finally walked away, cleaned the cat litter box and came back just as it was done uploading! Something is wrong and I hope it is fixed quickly! But while I'm waiting I'll go clean the laundry room!

I haven't had any problems so far today *knock on wood* but have lately ran slow as molasses at times. It usually just is a temporary thing and picks ups after a few minutes or so.

These last few upgrades have sure taken some life out of Gather. I keep loosing my comments....they are just gone. I hate that because comments are such an important aspect to community and when you put some thought and love into a comment and then it disappears it is just so upsetting. Don't give up Trudy, we love your photos and would miss their beauty very much. OK now I am going to submit. Hope this does not disappear.

I hear ya. I'm having issues with that and the email is so slow it takes forever, too. I was so thrilled when I got DSL and it's almost like I have dialup all over again. :(

They do take a while to load. Here is what I do. I hold down the control key and click on the photo(s) I want to view one by one. They open in a new tab (I use firefox, but I believe in IE you use the shift+click to do this). I open about 10 at a time, and then while they load, I read another article and comment. Then all 10 photos are loaded so I can go through one by one and comment. I repeat that all day long. It helps me a great deal because I have so many friends I want to visit, but when they take forever to load, I don't get around as much as I want to. {{{HUGS}}}
I've had some trouble with viewing "other photos" and I click on the list button & then they show up & I can just click next through them.

I haven't had any problems lately with uploading photos.
