You are correct. Those that have made up their minds they don't want Obama for whatever reason are certainly not going to change at this point in time. The really sad thing is that this would never have surfaced as an accusation were Obama Caucasian. Nor would the other things that have been blown out of proportion. I'd never accuse anyone, especially you, Marilyn, of being racist because they chose not to vote for Obama but we all know that a certain number are, and this issue is one great excuse for them to exercise, as is their right. True Republicans won't vote for him under any circumstances.
Let's face it, if Obama wins this, it will be one of the major miracles of the twenty first century! Sure never thought I'd see it in my life time, or for that matter, never thought I'd see a black major party candidate! We've come a long ways. When I was in high school Obama would not be allowed to drink from the same fountain as I. Today a major candidate and tomorrow, possibly president.
But you are still correct, one post on gather won't make any difference, probably not five votes nationwide.

My birth certificate has the doctor who delivered, time, date, hospital, all of the pertinent information. This one does not. That's why there's doubt about it being the real deal. Also, I believe the document is supposed to have a notary type of stamp on it and this one does not from what I can see. Also, it seems very strange that Obama's grandmother was very ill and he had to make a trip there after two days of being on television talking about it before he went there. Strange in that on the very day he was there, the court blocked all inquiries of his birth documents from going public.
'Nuff said.

Don't know about your birth certificate but mine doesn't say where I was born, other than city, any more than my marriage certificate tells where I was married. The relevant question is when, what parents, sex and department of record. The hospital is superfluous and some, like me, were born at home. Even today, not everyone is even born in a hospital. And many deliver without a doctor, even today.
It is amusing that we are even talking about this. It is not germane to much of anything at this point in time. Certainly not worth getting very worked up over. I have absolutely no reason to believe that this document is anything but an official birth certificate for Barack Obama. People who hate him distributing this wild story at the end of the campaign, scarcely is an imperative for changing my belief.
They lie,accuse and take no responsibility for anything.
