So, I will simply post the photos I took of it here:

In this next shot, I zoomed in on that cloud formation in the center of the above photo at the horizon line. Notice the thin "lines" of red spaced very closely together... I don't think I've ever seen anything like that before:

Then the formation began to "morph" until it looked like this:

I don't know what you think it looks like but, to me, it looks like a ram or a water buffalo!

great shots wish I had seen it this is as close though thank you for posting this
Pretty clouds, Jean.
I love sunsets this time of year, they are always so beautiful.
It was AMAZING, Eric... Hubby happened to have a fairly tall step ladder out in the front yard because he'd been cleaning out the gutters and I climbed up about 3 steps to take most of the shots (I took about FIFTY...lol...) I think I like that 6th shot best, although, they're ALL beautiful!
That's the beauty of clouds, Bobbi! They work on the imagination of each one of us differently... That, IMHO, is the definition of "true art"!
Exactly, Heather! I could easily see a bison in it, too! They ARE "dramatic", I'll give 'em that!
Thanks, Alison! I love the "ribbony" effect, as in, like, the 5th and 6th shots... really cool!
Jean that's jaw dropping. I'm a little weirded out.
Beautiful Jean.
