When it comes to a fat burning diet once you know what foods will help you lose weight then the rest is elementary. Low calorie diets show results quickly with a few pounds of weight loss in the first few days. But...your weight loss eventually comes to a dead halt, a process known as a dieting plateau. What you need to do is start a fat burning diet with thermogenic foods.
The best thermogenic fat burning foods are lean protein like skinless, boneless turkey and chicken breast.
Define Thermogenic:
The ability to generate a high [calorie burning] body core temperature & speeding up metabolism by way of a heat producing source.
Game Meats & Shellfish Are Included
Bison, buffalo, elk and venison are very lean including top round and lean sirloin meats(free-range, organic & grass fed meat are extra tasty). Almost all types of shellfish, freshwater fish & other seafood are high in protein. Organic / Natural egg whites without the yolks are on the top of the list as well.
Combining exercise and fat burning foods can help you lose the desired amount of body weight without artificial weight loss supplements.
A Diet Should be Rich In Fiber
Your digestive system needs raw foods like salad greens, cauliflower & broccoli. A fat burning diet for your stomach should be fiber rich along with lots of water, too many processed foods, fatty red meats and dairy products will stop youu short with your weight loss plans.
Fruits & vegetables are great fat burning foods. Eating them slightly cooked or raw will keep nutrition in instead of being boiled away. All citrus fruits are essential fat loss instigators and they're an ideal choice for dropping pounds.
Foods that burn fat improve metabolism and burns the fats accumulated in the body. These types of foods can easily deplete the fat from your body and keep you on the road to weight loss success.
We Need Carbohydrates For Energy
The lowest of the low carb foods in the bean category is green beans. Garbanzo beans, red beans, black beans and lima beans supply close to 30 grams of carbohydrates into one serving. For every 3/4 cup, green beans have only 5 grams of carbs.
Glycogen is used for energy when eating low carb foods, becauses of this a decrease in water weight will occur. It should be known that cutting back on carbs is also decreasing calories.
Glycogen Defined:
A sugar stored in the liver and muscles. It releases glucose into the blood when cells need it for energy. Glycogen is the chief source of stored fuel in the body.
Stevia: The Most Recommended Natural Sweetener
Stevia is a healthy low sugar substitute that is in high demand. For centuries native South American tribes have been treating many ailments including heartburn with medicinal teas. It's also a popular sweetener in Yerba Mate.
Nutrition in the low carb variety became very popular a number of years ago. Research linked carb consumption with higher blood insulin levels and higher insulin with obesity.
Insulin Defined:
(IN-sah-lin) A hormone in the body that helps move glucose (sugar) from the blood to muscles and other tissues. Insulin controls blood sugar levels.
Low Calorie Diets Are Dangerous & Do not Work.
Since the human body adjusts quickly to low calorie intake 'low calorie diets' do not work. Our bodies are programmed to survive so it slows down metabolism to allow energy storage [mostly fat] to prevent starvation.
Four meals daily every 3 to 4 hours keeps the metabolism going along with a 'full' feeling all day.
Using this plan with exercise mixed in is the secret behind a fat burning diet

So as you point out keeping your weight down through calorie counting is not the answer. Great article linking to a great product.
It's true about the "fart" factor with beans. A way to cure that problem is soak them or rinse thoroughly with water. This takes off the coating on beans that causes flatulence. Thanks for your honesty.
