Today's Walk about was a bit lazy, but Sundays are good for resting. I mostly sat in the yard, read and birdwatched, and pretended to be editing. I really have to get back to that. But, that's another day.
The first 20 shots are like "Where's Waldo." The birds are not so easy to see.
There are 2 in this shot. Well, one and the tip of the tail feathers of another.

3 in this one . . .

One blurry one in the next . . . which is not bad since it was taken about 200 feet from me.

While I was birdwatching, this little guy came to join me. He was friendly enough, so I let him be.

One of my hardy petunias that do not know summer is done.

A couple of my neighbors came by for a minute and introduced me to their friends, Thunder and Arrowhead.

A couple of planes flew over and painted a cross in the sky.

And then I made one on the ground. I know, silly. But I did.

And then a heart out of leaves. I was feeling a little foolish and young. Maybe it's the grandma getting into me.

Then my fashion challenged son came by and knocked some golf balls around in the yard and scared off all my birds. To get even, I am posting this pic. He hasn't been a teen for a long time, so it is a well used T.

I guess I should feel guilty because he was also there to invite me next door to dinner, and it was getting a little late and chilly anyway.
The next couple are taken from my front porch as the sun winked goodnight.

I hope you all had a great day and a good evening.
The news can get depressing, but if you look around, there is so much beauty in the world. More than any other reason, I take and post these to remind myself of that.
Be blessed my friends. I'll write again soon.
