Autumn Depression
Grey skies drip tears,
through foggy window views;
obliterating visions
of faded leaves.
Trees bend and sway
in an end of summer dance;
while losing their bounty of colors,
as north winds blow cold air.
Soggy sadness, falling rain;
shorter days, longer nights.
Silent weeping, choking sobs,
depression in bare branches.

Have a great day Marilyn
I like Autumn, but I can see that many could find it melancholic.
this is so descriptive, I can really feel it through your words.......
thanks ................

Blessings and best wishes - S.
I will be 'round to visit you all and see what you've been up to - what with Thanksgiving and a few other things, I haven't been online that much, so it's been a hit and miss when I have been. Hoping it'll get easier.
