The Economist, (not exactly a lefty, socialist, pinko, commie publication) has endorsed Barack Obama, saying:
"For all the shortcomings of the campaign, both John McCain and Barack Obama offer hope of national redemption. Now America has to choose between them. The Economist does not have a vote, but if it did, it would cast it for Mr Obama. We do so wholeheartedly: the Democratic candidate has clearly shown that he offers the better chance of restoring America’s self-confidence. But we acknowledge it is a gamble. Given Mr Obama’s inexperience, the lack of clarity about some of his beliefs and the prospect of a stridently Democratic Congress, voting for him is a risk. Yet it is one America should take, given the steep road ahead."

Obama is for change for America. McCain wants to continue Bush's economic policies which is scary.
Obama/Biden '08'
I read this several times to see if I missed something. Don't believe I did. Just shows how some leave reasoning at the door. I think if you realized that it was said quite emphatically the Tribune had not endorsed a Democrat in a gazillion years you would see how the "dah" is actually for youself.
Most polls have the prediction of Obama 350+ McCain 180-.
This is going to be a landslide if the election is fair.
And there are so many that will vote for Obama that if he loses will
know that it was not a fair election that fraud will not be tolerated
or ignored anymore.
Palin alone is enough reason to NOT vote for McCain. Not to mention
his antics and dirty campaigning, and his dislocation from the likeable
moderate guy he used to be.
Obama is nerdy enough to be a thoughtful responsible balanced president,
and I think despite the labels that are being shot at Obama from the Republicans
he is actually the most middle of the road moderate American candidate.
