Daylight Savings~What are your thoughts?

I think this is something we should STOP doing.

Some parts of the country do NOT do it.

i like it, my son is going to school now in the dark, I dont feel safe with him going to school is such darkness

It's just a normal thing after all these years. Indiana will dazzle your dials, probably the worst place in the USA. Some counties on EST, some on CST, some change clocks, some don't. Study where you're going to arrive on time.

I could live without it. Change here, change there. Sheesh, but at least I get another hour to sleep tonight. lol!

I hate it. I know it isn't safe for the kids to go to school in the dark, but it isn't safe for them to come home in it either. It really cuts the day short for me. My hubby works the 3-11 shift and when it gets dark so early I feel really lonely here.

i saw on tv that when we 'fall back', heart attacks go down 1%, and when we 'lose' the hour in the spring, they go up 2%......

We don't do it here in Arizona, and it's just fine with me. Years ago I lived in a different state that did it, and always thought it was kind of dumb/a pain. Having done both, I prefer not changing the clocks etc.
Makes life more interesting and natural, LOL. Then again, maybe we are just weird, or like being different... ;-)

I turn mine back in the morning for the extra hour to compute. But feels like bedtime at 6pm. yuk
I don't quite understand what you mean, but I guess you want to do away with daylight savings time. I would prefer to keep it all year long. I hate standard time. I hate to get our of work and drive home in the dark, and I love light.

I don't like it, mainly because for about two weeks, when someone asks the time the reply goes something like this: "Well, the clock says 5:00 but it's really 6:00." Don't understand the reasoning behind it anyway, I thought it started in WWII for people to plant Victory Gardens, sooo....what's the point now?
