ours was very, very quiet,
no kids to take out, and no one ringing my bell really
less then 20 kids

I didn't go out, but was disappointed with the low turn out at my door. I usually run out every year and I had almost 80% left in my big bowl. :( Bummer... I guess my dentist won't be too happy with me. lol

We took the kids to my grandmothers house to trick or treating. The kids got a huge haul. My uncle and his god came with us. Dilly (the dog) even got a few treats. They had a blast I will have to post pics tomorrow.

Well, it was a disappointment here! We used to get like 100 to 140 kids, but in the last year or two that number has really dwindled, as more and more people don't seem to want to be bothered with Beggars' Night. There were like only two or three houses (including ours) lit up......I gave out cans of pop, Rice Krispie like treats (wrapped), oatmeal pie cakes (wrapped), and little mini cakes (all wrapped)......the cans of pop all went really fast, but we still had a bunch of stuff left over.....we had, I'd guess around 40 or so kids......our 21 yr. old son sat outside, played on his laptop computer, and handed out treats!

i miss my nephews going trick or treating now that they are older. I also miss looking at all the candy they would get

We just moved here and we had lots and lots of kids!! Where I moved from last year we only had 1 lonely trick or treater! I love seeing all the kids dressed up!!! I used my chemo treatment to my advantage last night and dressed like Uncle Fester (bald head) and it was a blast, some of the kids laughed, some were scared. It was GREAT!

my grown daughter dressed up as a ....hmmm not sure WHAT she was lol, but anyway she came over in her costume and gave out candy for the few trick or treaters I had come to my door!! a quiet night all in all, glad you and your children had a good night!!

It was a quiet one here. I dont get Trick and Treaters here at all. I watched TV and went to bed. Glad you had a fun Halloween, t w.
