Today I went and squeezed in voting between shopping for Halloween Party stuff ordering other stuff and before I have to leave to set up Halloween Hall for the School and drop off the stuff I picked up for the class parties :) LOL. I have put the groceries away and I am still a half hour ahead of schedule Yea ME!!
I am supposed to be on the mail in voting list. But my ballot never arrived so I went down and waited while they verified thet I did NOT recieve my mail in ballot even though I was on the list to receive it. They were very sorry and said it was a glitch and a few dozen people did not get theirs sent. Had to wait a bit longer to verifiy I could vote today. Then YEA!! they handed me the paper ballots (which I honestly prefer) because the electronic one (yes we only have one) was down.
I hate voting in the crowds - I always feel like people are watching me and thinking I am taking too long. Which is why I like the mail-in stlye voting. I do take a while. I like to make sure I am voting on the right issues - I tend to get confused about the ballot #'s and if I am taking the effort to vote I want to make sure I am voting on the right things/people. But I just tuned out all the noise and read each issue twice and tried to remember my research on the issues.
No matter who or what you are for voting is our right, use it
a P.S. for the ladies:
The women before us suffered so that we had this right and I believe it is my duty to vote, not only to have my opinion counted but to honor the great women who suffered for us. Please let your voice be heard too, vote.

Excellent point about those who suffered that we have this right.
running about a 3 hour wait. My Mom and I will vote on Tuesday. Glad
you voted Denise. If my memory still works, it wasn't until about 1920
that women got to vote. Voting is not only our right, but our duty.
