My children and I switch off from year to year at each others homes for the holidays. We are big on tradition. Beginning last year, my kids decided add a new autumn tradition, pumpkin carving night. Tonight was the perfect weather and our first family gathering at my son's new home. Enjoy.
Well, to start with, we didn't want to leave out the twins, so the girls decided to paint Mommy's belly. We had a few laughs doing that.

Then because it was pretty cool outside, while I watched Ryan (which Nana never minds doing), Kenny went out and carved his pumpkin entirely too quickly.

The quick carving ended up with a sad, puking pumpkin. Here is the result.

The candle holder in the front is cut from the gourd on top. The one on the bottom becomes a pipe for another pumpkin later on.

The next two pics are of my kids clowning like a couple of pumpkin axe murderers.

But then they got seriously down to business.

The first pumkin, from my daughter and her husband is the ghost, appropriately named, Boo.

Boo gladly joined the ranks of Kenny's poor, sick globe.

This one is seriously disturbed. He does not get to sit on out porch. No drugs allowed, lol.
He is just spooky looking.

This next one has a tiny pumpkin gourd in its mouth, the little cannibal.

But really, when lit, doesn't it just look like he is smoking?

And finally, we finished off with this little devil.
Here they are, all complete.

Hope you enjoyed making memories with us. Happy fall.
