Generally Double Tribal Councils tend to hurt the game as they are used to vote off the weak and tend to be rather boring. Tonight's Double Tribal was the complete opposite though as not one but two rather shocking votes offs took place. Once again we started at our favorite Fang tribe after their millionth tribal council. After voting off Kelly the group wasn't much different but the next morning the food issue returned. After measuring out 30 scoops of rice, and complaining about their lack of it, Crystal then went on to spill the rice on the ground. Nobody really spoke up about it but you could tell they were all a bit pissed. She then went on to not eat the next meal and quarreled with Ace about it. It kind of solidified Ace and Matty's alliance as both were angry about the rice. It's crazy how a simple mistake always screws someone over in Survivor.
Over at Kota Corrine's self proclaimed bitchy side finally showed through! She's no Jerri Manthey but definitely approaching crazy Natalie! Dan was the focus of the pre-reward segment as he told everyone that he needed to fit into the group. Nobody really talks to him yet he remains paranoid and basically begged to be accepted. It surely hurt him as it made the others see him as somewhat an idiot. I mean Corinne even called him a "once fatty" and "scared as a kid" while Marcus kind of said it.... but in a nicer way. It was then off to the next reward challenge where the winning tribe would go on a helicopter ride and lunch to a canyon in Gabon. It was a large game of monkey in the middle where the tribes would through a breakable ball around a ring while an opposing tribe member would try and break the ball.

Up first in breaking was Ace and Randy. It didn't take long for Fang's ball to break as Randy ran straight into Kenny, forcing the ball to the ground and giving Kota their first point. Next into the middle was Bob and Sugar. Sugar started off well but she couldn't really reach the ball when it was thrown. Bob also had problems over in the Fang ring as he couldn't get the ball at the right time. Finally Bob was able to break the ball and give Kota their second point. With only one more point Kota was able to yet again win, no surprise. Ace basically threw the ball into the post but all the loss was posted on Sugar, who once again went to her Sugar Shack.
With their win Kota flew away to their canyon lunch. Here they celebrated ate and did other boring things. The only excitement came when the pilot gave them letters from home. Bob cried like a baby and was the only one to read his letters all on his own. Nobody really talked about it but everyone seemed to have a tender moment. Over at Exile Sugar was her normal Exile self, eating and lounging. Although she did point to the fact that she is using Ace just as much as he's using her. Over at Kota things were finally looking like Survivor as strategy set in. Matty was mad that Sugar last the challenge for them and wanted to vote her out. Ace had to talk him out of it though thanks to the Idol in her hands so he reluctantly gave in and agreed to vote of Crystal since they probably would lose at the immunity. Kenny and Crystal, who were back at camp, realized what was going on and confirmed that they were tight. Kenny wanted to keep Crystal and knew that Sugar was the only way. Therefore they had to shift Sugar's vote with a lie, a crazy but potentially game changing vote.
Going into the next Immunity Challenge Fang probably expected to once again lose but it wasn't going down like that. Jeff whipped out the Individual Immunity and everyone realized it was the Double Tribal Council. It was an all individual immunity with two facing off each round. They would be on the log roll and the first person to fall off would be out while the other would remain in the game. Up first was Ace and Dan, both needed the win. Ace took the win followed by Charlie, Marcus, Sugar, Randy and Bob. Bob apparently was a log rolling champion but he would be showed but by a surprising source in the semi-finals. For the finals the remaining six had to go against each other. Marcus and Ace moved on along with Sugar who beat out "I'm a champion" Bob. She sure showed him! For the final round the last three would face off all on the log together. With Ace in the middle it came down to two Fang and one Kota. Sugar dropped out after staying on for awhile followed by Ace, giving Marcus the first individual immunity win. There was also a twist to the immunity, Marcus got to give up another immunity away to someone on the other tribe. He chose to give it to Sugar, who now had two idols, in hopes of a power player going home. Funny he doesn't considering Kenny a power player since he just turned into one.
With Fang always losing they were treated to the first tribal council of the night. Before the left it was time to scheme and that's just what they did. Well Kenny did. He pulled Sugar aside and "told her" what happened while she was gone. Of course it was all a lie but it worked out perfectly. Kenny told Sugar that while she was in exile Ace went on and on about how she was just a pawn, a dumb blond and would give her the idol. He then went on to say that he wanted her gone that week and that they had to blindside Ace. Sugar didn't believe it but bought into Kenny's lie when Ace ASKED her for the idol! That was part of the lie as Kenny told Sugar that Ace would ask her for it again in hopes of getting her out. With that Sugar believed the story and actually ended up voting Ace out! It was pretty crazy, and kind of stupid on Sugar's part, but worked in Kenny and Crystal's favor. Although it seemed like Crystal may go thanks to her lashing out, once again, at Tribal Council but Ace left and the first blindside was over. (Watch the full Tribal Council on Reality Space)
Now that Fang's umpteenth tribal council was over it was finally time for the new Kota to head to Tribal Council. They really didn't have to strategize up until then but it sure showed where lines lay. Randy is now part of the Corinne/Charlie/Marcus alliance and replaces Bob. Not sure why they did that but they did. While on a walk with Marcus Dan freaked out and basically told him that they had to vote out Susie to stay safe in the merge. Marcus didn't take well to it and considered Dan an idiot. When they talked it seemed safe to assume that Dan would go but Susie made a very stupid move. She told Corinne that she was going to vote for her after Corinne told her that Dan would be going. What the hell? Well that set crazy Corinne off, yes she's reached crazy status, and she wanted to stab Susie in the face! Corinne then went on a Ace like Susie hating rant. Her idea almost went through since they thought that Dan could have the idol but he didn't, since he's an "idiot" and the votes came out rather strange. With four to three votes, Dan was voted out. I'm not sure why they split the vote like that but hey I'm not the one voting. (Watch the full Tribal Council on Reality Space)
Next week they finally merge and go skinny dipping in some ocean? Not sure why exactly but they do. Randy also claims himself to be the leader of both tribes.... I bet he leaves because of that!
