To most of you this will be no big deal, but to me it's huge. I am probably the worst cook in the state of Missouri, so when I can cook a meal for my family without burning it or forgetting something at the store, then I am just a little bit proud. Just a little bit.

I cooked a meal the evening of my wedding anniversary and it turned out fabulous. My husbands favorite thing to eat is meatloaf. (Not necessarily MY meatloaf, just meatloaf in general.) So I worked really hard on getting this right. Cooking is not, and has never been my fortet.

I worked in that kitchen for what seemed like hours. After I chopped and stirred and cussed, I was really happy with how my meatloaf turned out. I made it with some chopped up onion and topped it with ketchup. It was actually pretty delicious and a miracle at that.

The whole meal turned out really nice. Everybody ate seconds even.  Just wanted to broadcast on Gather. No one can ever go down in history saying, "Man that girl could not cook." It's recorded here on film.

Glad it turned out good. I like to mix A1 sauce with the ketchup and a little brown sugar for the glaze.
