God Does Bless America...

With His mercy and grace in spite of the fact that so many Americans have turned their backs on Him.  I find it amazing at how people want God to bless this country but they don't want Him in this country's affairs.  You can't have it both ways!  If you want God to bless you, you have to turn to Him.  He's not going to force Himself on anyone.  He is a gentleman.  Unfortunately, that concept seems to be lost on many in this country. 

This country is facing a lot of big challenges but so many people are determined that they know what's best better than God.  I pray for God's mercy on this nation in this timing because we need it with all of these people betraying Him and turning to their own ways.  The Bible said all of this would happen so I'm not surprised but it is still sad to see this country suffer because of the arrogance and pride of so many in our nation. 

Please pray for the mercy of God to fall on this nation.  We need it desperately!

C.J., She wouldn't, it just seems that way sometimes. God's name should always start with a capital letter or a capital letter when referring to Her.

No, I went to Sunday School and we were taught to respect God and that His name should always be captolized out of respect. They didn't teach aboubt Her in Sunday School, but surely She exists. And I ain't Her. Thanks for the thought.

God is not male or female, He is both. The "He" in this instance includes male and female genders because we were created as one to begin with. The problem is that too many females don't know who they are in God and don't understand that He sees us as equals to men and always has.

Thinking back on 9/11, everyone and their brother were Christians. What an arrogant belief we can do without Him now!

AMEN, AMEN, AMEN!!!!! I agree 1000%....people want their cake and eat it, too.....can't have it both ways. I have never, EVER thought of God as a "her." No way!!!!!! My God is my Lord and Savior.....it makes me so sick the way He's treated in our world today.....America has truly lost its way, and I'm really starting to wonder if its too late for this once great country. I cannot believe some of the above posts......good grief!!!!!!! All I know, that the world is getting more wicked and evil, people are turning against each other, greed, hatred, wars, etc., etc.....I cannot wait till the Rapture comes!!!!!

It also makes me sick as to how people think of Christmas anymore.........when our son was little, we always FIRST taught him the REAL reason for Christmas....NOT Santa, but the birth of Jesus.......take the Christ out of Christmas and there is NO Christmas.
