It's snowing here -BRRR!!

Well, here we go.  It is snowing here around Pittsburgh, PA.  We are to get 3-5 inches.

I'm never ready for cold or snow.  Thank goodness we got some of the yard work done.  I got all of the bulbs dug up, ornaments put away, seeds collected, etc.  We spent days (literally) cleaning up leaves.  Unfortunately, there are still alot of leaves still on the trees.  It makes such a mess trying to clean up when they are so wet and heavy.  It is really important that the gutters are kept cleaned out and also the flower beds.

We were hoping to get the vegetable gardens tilled up before winter and get our garlic planted, but I doubt that will be done now.  Oh well, I'm ready to hibernate.

Rocky, my dog was outside jumping and snapping at the snow flakes.  He loves winter.  Yesterday we had an ice storm.

Winter snow is pretty on the trees, but that's as wintery as I get. It makes nice pictures, but I hate being out in the stuff.

I'm not that far from you just north of Pittsburgh. Did you see how hard it was snowing earlier?? I'm so not ready for snow.

I am more of a skiing and snowboarding person, but other than choosing to go outside for those two activities, I am by no means a winter person. It's about 45-50 here in Richmond, Va and I'm already cold. I love watching the snow, it's beautiful, I just don't want to have to go out in it.

Its getting cold here too... we need to arrange clothes acordingly and use the winter clothes now.

ick...not a winter person here at all. Warm weather is uncomfortable ..but cold weather hurts...lol My yard needs rakes terribly. I was hoping this week but the leaves are so wet. Our biggest tree has lost most of it's leaves so hopefully things will dry up a tad and I can get them up. I am still holding out hope I can get the garden turned over and the garlic planted.

I'm never ready for winter or snow either. My parents who live south of Pittsburgh picked a good week to go to Las Vegas.

I hate HATE hate snow and winter!!!!

Thank goodness I got all my flowers planted that needed to be planted before first frost! YAY. Didnt get the garden ready yet though.
