Do Gather members get points for sending a Ping?

Gather doesn't release what does or does not give points, or how many points those actions are worth (but typically, actions are worth fractions of a point- so for instance, you don't get a point per comment).

hmmmmm now I'm confused....lol
I thought that we received fractions of points for screen usage such as commenting and also pinging....basically any contact with other members.

so what do we get points for doing? I have not gotten any points in a week... and I comment and rate and have gotten comments and ratings... I just do not understand the point system at all

Angel, check out Kevins link above. He explains that they were adjusting (reducing) the points we earn, and that they are listing it as a "glitch". No points have been earned for almost a week, and they are not going to credit us in any way.

Maybe this is why I have seen several posts asking if Gather is going the way of Boomertowne.
