First Sarah Palin is qualified to negotiate and represent America's interests to foreign leaders.
Now, Joe the Plumber is out talking about foreign policy. Joe the Plumber the fictional character can help McCain. Unfortunately, Joe the Plumber is also a real guy who is still not shutting up. Here is the McCain campaign over playing their cards again. They have never pivoted from the real Joe to the symbol he represents: the blue collar dude who wants to realize his American dream that Obama wants kill. Instead of running with Joe the character, they brought along Joe the tax evader who does not even have a license to do plumbing while claiming he is will buy one and make a quarter million dollars.
Joe is enjoying his 15 minutes.
Who can blame Joe? If Sarah can be McCain's VP, he can certainly try his hand at McCain's foreign policy adviser.
The McCain camp brought him to a campaign event and let him take a foreign policy question. A McCain supporter asked if "a vote for Obama is a vote for the death of Israel." JTP hardly batted an eye.
"I'll go ahead and agree with you on that," Wurzelbacher said.
Even Fox News went at Joe for his foreign policy reading of Obama's policy vis a vis Israel. Fox's Sheppard Smith pressed Joe to give an example that would lead him to his conclusion and he could not come up with any good reasons aside from Obama's position in favor of negotiating with rogue regimes such as Iran. Yeah, just like Sarah Palin would answer. Go back to the talking points. Meeting with Chavez, Ahmadinejad. Joe also added the following:
"You don't want my opinion on foreign policy," Wurzelbacher said. "I know just enough to kind of be dangerous."
Joe, you are dangerous. SHUT UP.

Joe Wurzelbacher epitomizes what is wrong with the party right now. First he aggressively misrepresents his position (he's not a licensed plumber, so cannot legally buy a plumbing business, and even if he could does not have the resources to do so; oh, plus he's in debt with his tax lien thing). Then he makes statements that are not based on any knowledge of fact and indeed are incorrect. Then he lives off his celebrity rather than any understanding of domestic or foreign policy. And the worst part is that the McCain campaign, after using him as a prop in the debate, decides to call him and involve him in the campaign. Like Palin he has very little understanding of the actual details of anything he talks about, and frankly looks silly being asked serious questions on which he has no basis for answering. And no one would expect him to be knowledgeable in these areas. The guy seems like a nice, hard-working guy who as a single dad is trying to make ends meet. But one has to wonder why he can't seem to grasp the fact that Obama's tax plan actually is more beneficial to him then McCain's plan. One has to wonder why he is putting himself in a position to answer foreign policy questions he knows nothing about. And one has to wonder why the press even bother. Let the guy go back to his job and his life. The McCain campaign has to stop using Joe as a tool, all the while making him look foolish to the world.
What's more disconcerting, is that there are so many people out there rallying around Joe that choose to be so ignorant. Think about it. The McCain campaign is using a normal "Joe" plumber as an icon for arguing Obama is a socialist because he would let the tax break for people making more than $250,000 go away. Joe doesn't make $250,000 and probably never will. The people McCain is rallying are never going to make $250,000. They all will be better off under the Obama tax plan than the McCain tax plan. And yet they rally behind such meaningless terms as "socialist" like somehow electing a Democratic Senator from Illinois is akin to electing Lenin. Do these people even know what socialism even means?
This is why the Republican party will lose dozens of house seats, as many as 12 Senate seats, and the Presidency. Because they have chosen to put all substantive governing in the toilet so they can push their agenda. Come on people. Can't the leadership of the Republican party see what they have done to the GOP. The first Republican President, Abraham Lincoln, would be shocked at the selfishness, ineptitude, and downright meanness of the party in recent years. And like many of the true conservative Republican thinkers of today, he would recommend that the party spends some serious time reflecting on how to abandon Rovian politics and return to the party of principles.
And for the Democratic party. You will have an opportunity to govern for all the people in the United States, not just the far left. You will have a chance to show the Republicans how to run this country. Learn from their mistakes, and learn from your own past mistakes. You will have an opportunity to change how things are done in Washington. Don't blow it.
I wounder with all the republican neocon rhetoric if any of them know what a hydrogen bomb is capable of destroying? Its not like the two they dropped on Japan because what America and Russia has can destroy a continent not just small cities and how much do these cons think they can back Russia into a corner before they say enough. Hitler found out the answer to attacking Russia and I would like to know if McCain is really so stupid that he thinks he could really do any better. Even Bush with -1 IQ knows better than to get past the threat stage with Russia.
Maybe if Joe the plumber was director of foreign affairs he could deal with Russia to get a good price on Vodka because the way he talks he must be drinking some really inferior liquor.
The man's not smart enough to realize that Obama's plan would actually help him. How much credit can we actually give him? He wants McCain to win, so he believes what he wants to believe and he's riding the train as long as he has a free ticket to do so.
McCain might not know you are a fool Joe, but you should stop. When this all done, you might regret it. Unless you can raise the money within the next 5 days.
