Here's a quick photo tour of our group geocaching outing on October 11th. I wanted to wait till the Gather points issues were corrected before posting this.
There were 7 of us that hit the road Saturday morning. We began in Washington, PA and made it to Winding Ridge, MD before we headed back for an evening Meet & Greet Event at the hotel. We cached South on I79 through Waynesboro, PA and into Morgantown, WV. We then took the scenic I68 through Cooper's Rock National Forest and on into Maryland and hopped on Route 40 back to Washington, PA.
It was a great caching day with my virtual geocaching pals. We were all psyched to pick up three new states to add to our list. I beleive I am at 18 states cached in now.

The above selection of photos were taken at the NTM Old Log Church Cache (PA)

This batch of photos were all from the Hughes Bridge Cache (PA).

Just some random photos at various caches.
These next few shots were from the Oakmont Cemetery where we found a nice ammocan.

The views from Garrent County Overlook were incredible.

These next shots were at National Treasure (MD). Ths was a tough hide and took us a long time to find. Weird too because I have found caches like this before.

I have a lot more photos from this day of caching, but as usual, I didn't want to post them all on Gather. There are also more photos posted to this article than are displayed within it.

Hope you enjoyed our beautiful day of caching in the Northeast. It's an outting I won't soon forget.

Sounds like a really good idea.
Great shots!
It really looks like fun, and I hope I'll be able to do this one day.

I hope you have a good weekend, Marianne!
Thanks for sharing.
And that jungle gym thing. We almost bought the kids one of those last year for Christmas. I wish we had now. Parker is becoming a real monkey climbing around on their swing set. Hehe.
It's great to get out and about and even better if you meet up with friends.
