There are so many people here, who I have some much to learn from, I am just amazed every time when I see what a great deals and bargains you 've got.
So I wanted know if any one of you have some plans how to do Christmas shopping, if you are waiting for black Friday deals or just have some other strategy, I might learn from you.
I have also notice that some of the stores give you a coupon on the receipt when you make the purchase there. So do you buy one thing and then buy another and use the receipt with the coupon? Or do you have any other saving tricks?

Now I am waiting on a $50 gc for Amazon from Mypoints, and when that arrives I will go ahead and buy Maddie the Vtech toddler camera that I decided to get her for Christmas.
We also have a little wooden Thomas and friends train that I got awhile back with a free coupon and that will go in her stocking.
Otherwise we will probably just get her maybe a few books and possibly some more winter clothes. She doesn't have many winter cloths since we just moved from FL.
So otherwise I really won't have to spend too much more to make those gifts and will just have to get something for hubby.
I do all of the shopping for both my family and friends as well as everything my boyfriend gives everyone. Otherwise, who knows what they would end up with. I also work at Macy's so I'm already at the store, I may as well get the stuff I can for him.
Other than keeping a notebook, one thing I do for all my friends that's really popular(and inexpensive) is gift baskets. I get the baskets at the dollar store and a massive thing of clear plastic wrap from Michael's. I fill the gift baskets with different stuff each year, sometimes its Bath and Body Works stuff I've collected throughout the year on sale, sometimes I do a cooking basket with gourmet cookies and candy that I find at TJ Maxx and Marshalls. Just pick a theme, then you can collect stuff all year long on sale(like when nail polishes are BOGO at CVS) and then save tons.
I think I will start doing something like that too... it makes such a difference to just pick things up as you see them - and I also love that you have a little book that you write things down in when people mention them.
Great tips! (I think I'd have a hard time picking a theme though, haha)
:o)
