This quote makes is seems as if he did. He could be describing my son and many other Aspie's.
My passionate sense of social justice and social responsibility has always contrasted oddly with my pronounced lack of need for direct contact with other human beings and human communities.

I'm an Aspie, which means I have been diagnosed with Asperger's myself. The two primary criteria which seem to differentiate the merely odd and quirky from those of us who are somewhere on the Autism Spectrum seem to be 1. Social awkwardness and 2. Sensory issues
If he had sensory issues AND was socially awkward, he very likely was on the Spectrum... there is such speculation about a wide range of famous people past and present.
I find Asperger's to be a great relief. A relief to know why "all those other people are wrong" LOL. But seriously, I never could figure out why others could not follow my logic - nor I theirs. Now I know. And I still think they're wrong more often than I concede that 'tis I who happen to be mistaken.
If I'm not correct, prove it. Don't call me wrong based on theory with no sound facts. And don't invent facts to support your weak theories. That's all I'll say.
Actually, I'll say a lot more... but I gotta cut it off SOMEWHERE.
