Candy, Randy doesn't understand why Senator Obama doesn't provide the media with his official birth certificate (if he doesn't have the original, and many of us don't), and end the controversy. This issue will follow him into office if he is elected.

Apparently Obama hasn't learned anything from the John Kerry fiasco, where he withheld a copy of his DD250 form that documented his military record in Vietnam. After repeated promises to the media to release the form, both before and after the election, Kerry still hasn't made the release and he has no credibility about his military service. Kerry wasn't "Swiftboated", the damage was self inflicted.

With all of the unanswered questions about Senator Obama's background, his campaign's refusal to release known information about him, and the media's failure to probe his record, I don't believe Obama can be a credible leader, if elected. As he said, he "doesn't look like all those other presidents on the dollar bills." He doesn't act like them either.

This is the best they can come up with is speculating he was not born in Hawaii. I am sure that he was fully vetted in order to even run and honestly I would not show my certificate to the press. I show it to the government gencies that require it and no one else.

What about the 1200 pages of McCains medical records(just for the last 8 years) that were only handed over to a few people in one room, no copies were allowed to be made, no camerias of any kind and they have something like 4 hours. Obama's - One page, released in full.

Remember the old adage guilty until proven innocent? Well the burden is on the parties who filed the suit to prove he was not born on US land.

McCain wasn't either but it later became US Territory and he was grandfathered in so to speak.

So what we know is that McCain was born abroad at a location that was NOT US territory but later became one and that a bunnch of yahoos are accusing Barack Obama of having a false birth certificate but without proof. Petty, shameful, rovian.

I still think it is wrong that the Democratic Party doesn't have to divulge what they used to vet or verify that Obama indeed meets the Constitutional requirements. Since they are the ones required to do so, and apparently they didn't get a copy either according to the Hawaii statement above, just how do they do that job? I think any politician from any party seeking election by the public for office with requirements for eligibility, should have to allow access to that information to the electorate. Why is it a secret, and why deny access to thier process? How do we know they the Party are even doing thier job if not? It is like the fox watching the hen-house to me, and not right in my mind.

This just seems like such a ridiculous point to argue about. How can anyone possibly believe that Obama's birth certificate was not fully vetted by the FBI, CIA, NSA, Dept. of Homeland Security, etc.

If Obama's place or state of birth were a real obstacle to his bid for the presidency then government agencies would have told us. As it is, all official agencies that have released comments or opinions to the press say that Obama's birth certificate is legit.

Well, Bill, under normal, honorable circumstances, and of the above departments you cited could have checked it out. Unfortunately, this runs much deeper and Obama is the 'chosen" one. When grandma was ailing earlier this year, Obama opted to head to St. Thomas, Virgin Islands for fun in the sun and sand instead of visiting her.

Obama NEVER visited his MOTHER, a cultural Marxist and left-wing activist who at one time worked for the Ford Foundation, while she was dying of ovarian cancer; SHE DIED WITHOUT SEEING OBAMA AGAIN.

Obama claims he didn't know how serious her condition was; his mother was already in the hospital when Obama made that statement.

Ann Dunham died November 7, 1995. What was Obama doing at that time? He was busy building his political machine.

The next day Obama flies to Hawaii and when he's not visiting grandma, he is doing what from the time he arrives the 23rd until the morning of the 25th?

The State of Hawaii has a strict privacy law regarding all birth certificates. You can't just ask for a birth certificate. Not Obamas. NOT ANYONE'S. Try to obtain a birth certificate for anyone born in Hawaii, unless you are that person, you cannot get it. The governor's actions are legitimate. She's probably afraid someone might try to steal it at this point.

As far as the "socialism" charge goes, I thought David Gergen explained it best on CNN last night. As you may know, Gergen served as a White House advisor to Presidents Nixon, Ford, Reagan and Clinton.

He said one of the biggest advocates of "redistribution of the wealth" in the form of "progressive taxation" was Teddy Roosevelt. Teddy Roosevelt was a Republican. Also, it was Ronald Reagan who initiated the "Earned Income Tax" credit. This was a program to help working people who fall below the poverty line.

"Not rational" is voting for someone who had radical bigoted mentors,criminal associates and so many stories and rumors floating around them it is insane.Even if only a fraction of them are true it is bad.The old saying lie down with dogs,get up with fleas.....well Obama should be covered with them.We cannot have a man like that holding the highest office in our country.

Let me ask those of you backing Obama this question.. If you were interviewing potential nannies/daycare providers for your child, what would you do if their background check came up with many potential problems? What if the daycare provider down the street gave you a list a mile long of things they believe is wrong with the first provider you interviewed? Would you turn a blind eye? Would you just assume the 2nd provider is a jealous rival lying about her?

I believe most parents want their daycare providers to have spotless backgrounds, great references and a clean as a whistle lifestyle. Anything less would be unacceptable. So why would we want the most important job in the world to go to someone with very CLEAR problems?

Is a little fraud here, a little radical extremist friends over there and small associations with criminals over there really nothing to worry about?

I don't worship the ground ANYONE walks on, Berf. I look at the facts, and if Hawaii has Obama's birth certificate, then he was born in Hawaii, which makes him a US Citizen. I'm not asking for McCain's birth certificate either. I couldn't care less. I think McCain's medical records, however, are far more pertinent than Obama's birth certificate.

There is another who is a forensic scientist who has similar evidence, but I can't find that link right now.

Sue - I haven't had a chance to read the entire site you linked up there but I will. From what I saw, it does show some possible interesting reading. Since I am going to read this site as you requested, I am going to ask you a question.

Why? What it the purpose of this alleged forgery? Was it just a sloppy mistake on the part of everyone else and just an intentional cover-up by Obama or is there something more sinister at work? NK, I have to get some work done, and your answer would be a long one. I was planning on writing one more political article before the election.
