I have been suffering from writers block for a few months now when it comes to a story I am trying to write. Tonight, to help open the imagination, I decided to write a bit of poetry on the subject of writers block. I hope you like them. Both are short. This is the second one.
Static Scream
I sit in chains
A product of imagination
Begging for release
From the confines of a broken mind
Turmoil clouds judgement
On where my story leads
A thrown pen, crumpled paper
Silent words, A cut refusing to bleed
Pulling on shackles
I scream to be freed
Not living as a faded footnote
A victim of an unwritten dream

They can bring forth, something you've been lacking.
I've begun writing some poetry again, myself, and it does seem to help, the word pour from me faster. And, my stories are coming out again.
