Something About Palin I Like and What it Will Mean in this Election

October 25, 2008 11:24 PM EDT
views: 357 | rating: 8.6/10 (13 votes) | comments: 144

Seems Sarah Palin is unhappy with how the John McCain ex George Bush aides have been managing her.  And she has been openly critical of John McCain over the use of robocalls and the fact that she hasn't been readily available to the media.  The McCain people felt she was too green a stand that has since angered Palin.

The McCain people apparently feel that in the case of his likely defeat that Palin will make a good scapegoat.  And they are tossing around the word diva in reference to Governor Palin's behavior.

As for Palin she seems to be focusing less on McCain and this election than redeeming her image for a possible 2012 run for the White House.

I don't like her stand on abortion and a ton of other things but she does have girl balls.  I admire that.

Now what will this mean to this election?

MJ I dont know she seems to be asserting herself to the McCain folks...now I know she isnt the brightest bulb and she is doing this for her own gain but at least she is doing it.

There's a time to assert and there's a time to sit back and study. She needs to study, but that would require the intelligence she seems to lack.

Seems to me if she really DID have girl balls this is pretty late in the game to start exhibiting them!
She allowed herself (and her young family) to be paraded out and used like a mere props to contrast the old stale McCain brand. Doesn't appear to me that she represented anything except how much she would pander to the McCain camp and her own ego.

"There's a fine line between having balls and being retarded. I believe she falls on the retarded side of the line."

I certainly HOPE it's not the other side -- that makes for a disturbing image! :)

I don't think she has a chance as a presidential candidate in 2012 - too many radical evangelical views for a mainstream audience. They have been mentioned in this campaign, but if she were the main candidate and not just the running mate, it would be hammered over and over.

Most of the Alaska contacts that I have are associated with UA -- Fairbanks. But that doesn't keep them isolated on that hill, for they are very active in their community, and stay connected to it.

Take home message, and conclusively: they can't stand Sarah Palin, period. The end.

I forget who the previous was, but they're still reeling over how -- just HOW he ever lost to Palin. Furthermore, they like Ted Stevens (don't ask me why), and don't like what she did there, either.

For awhile, I had compassion for Palin, and didn't discuss her. Now, I see she is nothing but an opportunist, manipulative, hypocritical witch. What I hate most is the hypocrisy related to Christianity, because it a method used to -- once again -- manipulate people who just don't seem to get it.

What I don't understand is why so many -- okay, let me put it this way. Did you see D. L. Hughley's new program on CNN tonight? It is live, and un-cut. Here it is in a nutshell:

Sarah Palin is the pimp, pimpin' America, and she expects America to be her whores.

So Lori, I guess you are correct; you say "balls", and PIMPS most certain DO have those. It is just that they are like leeches, and expect their whores to do their bidding, pay up, pay them homage, and give all their money to THEM.

I still think she's just showing more stupidity. She thinks Jesus is going to vote and make her queen of the USA complete with tiara.

I'm rather pissed at my bosses right now. Will it do me any good to get "ballsy"? Nope. I'll bide my time and when they have an "urgent need", I will be able to smile and point out they refused to give me the tools I need to do the job. Then I will get what I want with icing on it.

To me, she comes across as that bane of women professionals, the woman who thinks popularity can get her whatever she wants, who covets the power and is clueless about the responsibility.

You can call it girl balls, but to me it is the contraction, unmitigated gall. There are so many capable, talented, hard-working women out there. This is not the one I ever want to see in or near the White House. If she'd come forward with knowledge or wisdom or talent or experience or even common sense, I could go forward at least without despising her. Unfortunately, she had none of that.

Once again, I remind everyone that McCain/Palin/Bush are irrelevant. Their corrupt party will control everything no matter who they prop in front of the cameras. Vote them all out until the Republican Party cleans out the puppet handlers. McCain/Palin are obviously NOT up to that job.

Stephanie I feel the same way you do. If she would have came out with something substantial and not just her diva attitude then I would not dislike her as much as I do..but this is about the best we are going to see from her...a smarter woman wouldnt have said OK to McCain.

Anybody with a brain knows McCain mishandled this entire campaign. To claim that there is a set-up to use Palin as a scapegoat is pure liberal nonesense. For one, who would buy it? Most people like me don't support McCain because of him I got on board when he selected Palin.

That said, Palin is incredible. Fortunately for me I really don't have a stake in who gets elected because I am a man's man. I never needed government or their utopian promises and would probably commit suicide the day I did. I feel sorry for democrats. In many ways I hope Obama wins just to slow the progression of misery among those who count on government Obama's promises. I couldn't imagine being a slave to hope.

I'm NOT blaming YOU cupcake...but the thought IS hilarious!!!! As a frequently described bleeding heart liberal (Pro-people, pro-American) person....I find it "snort your drink through your nose" funny. Truth be told...The GOP threw this election because we've come to the "pay the price" position. THEY don't want to be there when the bills become due and payable. The reason McShame chose her and not someone like Kucinich was because the GOP knows she's NOTHING. They lose nothing. She's just to F-ing stOOpid to know it yet.

"In many ways I hope Obama wins just to slow the progression of misery among those who count on government Obama's promises."

I nearly forgot about that one. The entire Country rates, what is it? 51% disapprove of her. I'm ROFL.

She was a REAL blast when asked what the role of the VP in Congress was. Wooo Mama.

She at least needs to READ the Constitution and learn what the role of the VP is, since she is running for it.

Sandy, we may not need to wait until 2016 for a butt kicking if she walks in the Senate thinking she is going to run it. Hillary would whoop her then, and there.

But . . .it shall never happen since she and McCain are toast.

Here is the comment from someone else on Gather. I'm not giving his name, but he is FRENCH, born and raised, and there now. And shame on y'all -- he wanted to get some intellectual comments on his comment on the economy; I put up an article, but he got very few.

For shame,
For shame.

Anyway, here is what he said about Palin:

"About the US campaign, I cannot imagine Mc Cain winning the election with Ms Palin as vice president. We have at least two dozen of idiots involved in politics in France, yet there is no competition with her, she is a winner...

ENjoy the fight!"

. . .and before anyone starts hatin' on him -- that is the VERY reason I'm not giving up his name. I've seen some of the comments made to Rory the Canadian about sticking his nose into American politics; never mind that my friend is a Gatherer. I'm not letting it happen to him, just because he and his people think Palin a idiot.

"""""Jeff and I am glad you admit that it is McCains leg you desire to hump...the truth will set you free. """""

I see you facts and research skills are about up to par with democrat standards. But you are a democrat so it's understandable. Everybody know it is Doyle's leg that I want to hump.

You're SO right cupcake. She wanted to be VP and the GOP wanted someone to toss under the train that wouldn't ruin a future candidate. I don't care what Canadian or French (un-named) people (presumably) say!

Oh really, Doyle. Is that why you are in my most recent article, whereas Jeff, and Lori aren't? Go take a look.

I don't hate you. In fact, I don't even hate those ridiculous people who call themselves the "Christian Right", who are the biggest haters this side of Hell.

I want to put you in there too, Lori, but at the time I couldn't find you. I was looking at the people coming through on my "My Friends" while I was working the article.

But I really dig your pink ride. May I?

Palin though?

She shall never be President.

If there is to be a female President, watch her try to go up against the Almighty.

I was wondering what it was that turned Obama's hair grey. Then, he said it was,

ta-da --

Hillary!!

Palin EVER try to run against Hillary, ooooh how I would love to see that matchup.

Hillary would have Palin looking like Phyllis Diller, before the facelift.

So am I, Sandy, that is, if the citizens of Alaska don't finish her off first. They are talking about getting the tribal chieftains stirred up against Palin. Usually, many of them don't even vote, but there is a movement up there to go into those villages and talk to the chieftains. As the chieftains go, so goes the rest of the village.

I'm telling you, Sandy: there are more than 20% of the people up there that are not happy with Palin. They want to get her OUT of Alaskan politics, and back to Wasilla.

Hey! Wait a minute! I was dealing with much that night. Gather problems right after the upgrade, driver problems from MicroSoft, (although at the time I didn't know it). I was having all kinds of errors. I was pulling from "My Friends" as they were signing onto Gather, because it was the fastest way to go.

Now, why are you giving me a hard time about this. What should have took me a few hours took me ALL NIGHT!!! And then, the pictures didn't turn out. Some even errored off the article.

Give a brotha a break, will ya?

From what I've been told, Palin totally ignores the chieftains, and the Native Americans. Anybody surprised?

After all, they would not qualify as those good ole
....... "REAL".......Americans

That doesn't explain her WHOPPING 10% approval rating. She's the lowest EVER nominee in history. Wonder why.
