Our classroom pet is a bunny rabbit. Bunny rabbits are lagomorphs. That means they do not eat meat like rodents and rats. They only eat grass and vegetables. I think they are beautiful, and soft. Our classroom pet's name is Razor. She is black and white. One ear is black and one is white. Her eyes are deep blue. Her chest is more black than white. The inside of her ear is pink with some little tiny black fur. Her tail is bushy and she loves to stand on her back feet in her cage. There are more than 13 varieties of cotton tails.
Lili is in the first grade and welcomes your comments.

Lagomorphs must be related to another word I learned recently while we were on vacation in Guatemala--- zoomorphs. That is what they called some old, old carvings that looked like animals. The one we saw looked like a BIG frog! It was carved from solid rock. I think you would have liked it just as I did.
I would love to see a picture of Razor. Maybe you can post one of her some day!
I loved all the comments. Thank you.
I liked the idea. I will write some poems for Grandma to put here, Tonia.
I liked learning about zoomorphs, Duckie.
Katrina, thank you for saying I was a terrific observer. When Razor is surprised she jumps into the corner of her cage.
Lynn, I like it too.
Heidi, I will.
Sue, Razor does make me happy.
Mrs. Elizabeth, I like what you wrote, and that you are a teacher.
Flit, thank you!

Thanks everyone, I appreciate your comments too. It makes Lili happy and she looks forward to sharing more.
My granddaughter, who is 5, has a bunny who lives in a cage in their kitchen. I house sat with her last Christmas. Fortunately, Mr Rabbit behaved himself. Which is more than I can say for Sadie, the dog!
Your grandma is an old friend of mine that I'm going to get to see again pretty soon. I just bet that you both enjoy the time you spend together as you craft your stories and poems. I look forward to reading more from you again. Take good care of your grandma. She's a very special person as I'm sure you know.
