$2.04 !! Gas prices are falling fast!

How low can it go?

I saw from $2.14 down to $2.09 yesterday while out and about.
This morning I went to the website to check gas prices in town and
saw that most of the gas stations were at $2.09,
one was at $2.07
AND
one was $2.04.

I am so amazed!

Do you think we'll make it to under $2.00??????

Who would have thought this could happen a year ago???

Yeah they have fallen considerably. I hope it's not just a ploy until after the election and then they jump up high again. Fill your gas tanks while it's low. I think it's about $2.50 a gallon here in Missouri.

They were talking on the PBS news last night that it was a bad thing - it's a side effect of the global market freezing up (a very very bad thing) and so demand is down. OPEC cut the supply and that didn't change anything.

Last I checked it was around $2.88 here. I did read that OPEC is cutting oil production by 1.8 million barrels a day to keep the price from falling so much. Not sure what will happen to gas prices then.... but they must have gotten used to that extra money in thier pockets.

It's $2.17-$2.25 here and it is true that the falling gas prices are a very bad sign. So much less demand because global economy is getting worse.

Yes, I was happy to see $2.25 yesterday. There were a couple of stations in Ft. Worth yesterday that were having a gas war for $1.89.

Gas consumption dropped by 10% nationally because the prices went so high. Many people sought out other transportation means and that is not a bad thing. I imagine the prices will go up a little with OPEC cutting production, but the initial price hike was nothing but greed.

Yes, gas prices are falling now, but OPEC is threatening to squeeze production. Don't get too giddy just yet.

As of yesterday SW MN. was at 2.39. Hopefully we'll see another decline today.

$2.21 in SE Texas. I expect $1.99 or lower is just around the corner. The SUV prices is going to climb!

Its nice that it is falling. In Chattanooga the lowest gas price is $2.49 but a month back we were paying 3.65 to 3.90 because we have very little gas in the area. I have a bad feeling that after Christmas we are going to see skyrocketing prices.

I filled up for $18 yesterday!!!! YAY Gas was down to $1.93 where we are at I HOPE IT LASTS!
