My husband pestered me and pestered me til I finally did it! I wrote a book and just last night submitted it to a publisher. I'm excited, but trying not to get overly hopeful. After all I know many authors who have submitted books to MANY publishers before getting it published, if at all. But, I think the timing is perfect for my book. It's called "Wow! You saved HOW much?" and it's about saving at the grocery store. I regularly save 50% of my grocery budget by the way I shop. So, basically I just put it all down in book form.
Anyway, say a little prayer it gets accepted. I could really use some extra money (can't we all?)

I want the first copy - signed of course!!!
Have a good weekend

if i dont say more than 80% i wont go..
I wish I could remember which major bestseller it was, but I read recently that the first run had to be a self-published. Jane Austen's brother published her first work. So if it takes a few rejections to get there, you'd be in great company.
Here's a 10, thanks for posting at Up All Nite Café.
