"And the seasons they go 'round and 'round
And the painted ponies go up and down
We're captive on the carousel of time
We can't return we can only look behind
From where we came
And go round and round and round
In the circle game"
At the time, it seemed impossible that this young body of twenty would go "round and round" in the circle game. And yet forty years later, here I am. Many seasons have I seen and through them all I have learned about the "circle of life"...the spring of childhood, the summers of coming of age and marriage and birth, a fall of harvesting the riches of a life well-lived...and a winter, yet to come, but peeking just over the horizon.
Images of circles going "round and round"
Mirroring lives and machines I have found
As I wander with camera in hand and
Thoughts racing in my brain. The Wheel
of the water goin' round and round,
Vapors rise, Clouds are formed,
Young children playing hide 'n seek,
Lovers caress in a meadow deep,
Thunder and lightening in the sky
A woman laments how time
Slips by.

You captured rounds and seasons, carousel-ing Joni with honor.
Now I'm allowed to see levels of Gatherish beauty I didn't even know existed. And better understand last weeks upgrade disappointments. Where do I go from here?
