I remember many years ago my dad was in the hospital and had this crazy roommate who had never been in the hospital before. He had his gown on backword and walked down the hallway with his front showing. He was so funny, also tore open the tea bags to get the tea out, and had no idea where to put a suppository. My dad almost broke open his stitches laughing.
I have lots of good sidewalks in my area but I still walk three times a week at the mall. Climate contolled and always entertaining. Watch out for us old ladies. We clip it off pretty fast. Have been doing that for 7 plus years.
its not so bad in the neighborhood, but if you want to get anywhere you can't walk because there is no room between the drainage canals and the main streets
The Mall is less that 2 miles from me, all one level and it is one mile clear around the inside corridoors. We make 3 rounds and then stop for coffee or tea.
I have a Fitness Flyer from a Guthy-Reinker info mercial 11 years ago. It is a really good heavy duty cardio and leg machine. No impact on joints. I use it more in the winter when I can't get out as much.
I don't like treadmills much Ariel, I get too bored just being in one place when I'm walking, but I use one at the gym to either warm up or usually to cool down.
