LOL Phyllis! You know I rarely allow ratings but I did intentionally this time to prove how immature some of them are. If I don't like something that is posted I go on to something else because everyone has the right to express their opinion. I actually think it s funny that they continune to prove me right. I guess they also missed above the part that said this is for those with a sense of humor.

By the way for the record I know not all Democrats are like this.

Phyllis I actually have a friend that is not only a democrat but as liberal as they come. We are so opposite. He is a pacifist and of course you know I can from a family full of people who served during war time. We do talk politics only because we both love a good debate and we both gave give and take what each other says. At the end we jokingly call each other a name associated with our parties and then say see ya talk to you later. The difference between us and some of the democrats that are here on Gather is that we may hate each others political views but we both understand that it is our right to express those views we are respectful to each other and others that don't share our views. There are many around Gather who are not like that and would prefer name calling when they don't like someones opinion.

Chris, like you I also have a good friend who is a liberal Democrat, but instead of fighting about who is right and or wrong, we try to understand each other's perspective and in some ways agree to disagree. Just wish there was more of those people on Gather.

Anyhow, sorry to get off the subject. Love the cartoon!
