Not too long ago I posted a comment about how you can cut Dryer Sheets in half or even in fourths and still have them work as well, thus saving money.
Well, I just read about this yesterday so I'm anxious to try it. Instead of pouring your liquid fabric softener in your washing machines, take an old sock or old rag and dampen it with diluted liquid fabric softener and put it in the dryer with your clothes.
Apparently you can also pour 1/2 cup of white vinegar into the final rinse as well, which would probably be even cheaper, but somehow I can't imagine that not making my clothes smell like vinegar.. ??? Don't think I'll be doing that one.

I do that !!!!!
I buy inexpensive fabric softener and vinegar. And I mix my own...
1/3 fabric softener
1/3 vinegar
1/3 water
It makes an excellent fabric softener. And I hang my clothes on the line.
I now use vinegar.
1/2 vinegar
1/2 water
That makes a wonderful household cleaner!
And no, his stuff doesn't come out smelling like vinegar. It comes out fresh!!
Here's a 10, thanks for posting at Up All Nite Café.
