We are responsible for the lives of hundreds of thousands, of which more than 4,000 were young Americans. For what? We have ground-leveled a sovereign country that posed no immediate threat to anyone and now we have to spend billions to rebuild it. Why? So that the Halliburton-type companies can fatten their bottom line? This money could have gone a long way toward helping the ailing U.S. dollar.
America used to be the most admired country in the world. This is no longer the case, to put it mildly. Sen. John McCain, Gov. Sarah Palin, and my favorite, Sen. Joe Lieberman do not seem to have a clue on what is going on in the world. I will not even bother to mention President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney. That's a no-brainer.
I hope that the arrogant and miserably failed Republican foreign policies are not to be continued.

all across the boards Jack.............
Its really a shame that people are stuck in party lines to the point they refuse to see what is really happening.
There's no question, McCain would continue the basic Bush "defense" policies that will have us all swirling down the drain together, Republicans, Democrats and Independents.
It seems like misdirection of the first order.
