Well actually I'm not sure if I saved more money or not. One of my other articles says that I saved $105 on my electric bill . I did! That is not a joke. Now I am trying my best to save more money. Here is how...
I keep my bathroom door shut so the cats don't wander in there. I go potty (#1) and I don't flush on the first trip...I put the lid down and I flush the next time. I am teaching the boys to do the same thing or if they go to go outside (we live in the woods) or for all of them to go one after the other (3 of them) and then flush. Of course this is all the #1.
We are all wearing our clothes more than once. That means we dirty less clothes and use less electricity and water washing them.
My husband finally talked me into turning the water heater down. I don't really care for it but I am sure that I can get used to it.
We also take less showers now. All of the changing clothes or wearing the same clothes more than once and the showers depends on what we do that day. Working outside really makes us all change clothes and take a shower.
Oh yeah - we are hanging out more laundry too.
I am excited about my electric bill next month.
