Why oh why is my pregnant body teasing me????????

I am 3 1/2 weeks from my due date and had a doctor's appointment today.  Well, wouldn't you know, the baby isn't head down anymore. He has been head down the whole time but now has decided he does not want to be.

I have to go in next week for my appointment and also have an ultrasound to check his position, but they also want an estimate of his weight (I tend to have larger babies).  Tonight I am having contractions like crazy...nothing that will send me running to the hospital, but enough to tease me!

Why oh why does my pregnant body tease me so??? I am ready to serve this little baby boy with an eviction notice, but he is just snuggling in more!

Mine all flip-flopped like that too. I think it's worse head down, with their feet digging into your ribs. 3 weeks-you're almost there!

LOL...that's just how it goes. Babies are born on God's time, not ours. I can sympathize, since I've been there too.

I was in an accident when I was 38 weeks pregnant and started having contractions and dilating. I thought that the baby was so close to coming. And the contractions were so bad. Finally they induced me on my due date. I know what you are going through it is so hard waiting towards the end. It will be done soon. After I gave birth I missed being pregnant, so enjoy it while you can.

Holy crap on him not being head down anymore. If at your next appt hes not head down are they going to turn him? The last part of being pregnant was always the worse for me.

With my second baby, who was over 9 pounds, he was in trasnverse (sideways) position when I went into the delivery room. No amount of pushing would deliver a baby that was lodged in sideways! I was taken out of the delivery room for an x-ray to see if he could fit through the birth canal. They thought he could. So, back to delivery I went and they turned him so he was head down. Some people pushed up on one side of my belly and others pushed down on the other side until they got him in the right position. It was a long delivery but he was worth it!

thanks everyone for the encouragment! I see the light at the end of the tunnel. I just can't wait to meet him. He is our last little one and I am enjoying being pregnant, but the end is so hard: can't bend, can't move, can't sleep, can't breath...UGH! His name is going to be Carter Jay.

It won't be long now until you see that beautiful baby in person.

I remember the last month of both of my pregnancies seemed to drag on and on and on. I know you are so uncomfortable, but it will be all worth it soon.

I have to giggle at this one because now i'm feeling the same thing... I'm already having contractions, and on bedrest having to take pills to stop the contractions... Its like he wants to come out already, but for his health and safety, he's staying in the oven till its time!

My second droped so low that for over a month when i would go to the Dr and get checked they could feel her head.
