Caesars Head State Park is in the mountain bridge wilderness area of upper Greenville County, South Carolina. This state park is in Cleveland, SC. There are more than 50 miles of easy to strenuous hiking trails here. While visiting this area you can see panoramas of the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains and valleys. This area is 3,200 feet above sea level and the park offers an overlook of this beautiful view. Hiking at our age is usually out of the question so we just stopped by to take a short walk on a nearby trail and then walked along the scenic overlook of the area.
Here are the photos we were able to capture. I can just imagine what we missed by not being able to hike.
All the photos from Caesars Head can be seen here in my album "Caesars Head"
Videos from Caesars Head #1, #2, #3.

This next photo shows a marker embedded in the cement of the lookout where you see DH taking some video.

I have to say something about the mist and the clouds. As we were taking video and photos while standing on the lookout station the ground mist started to rise and move in toward us. I think on the video you can really see it moving in and before we knew it we could not see anything but the mist in front of us. It was quite the experience.

I also took a lot of floral and plant life photos which I will post separately.
