Whoo hoo!! Hubby got a raise!!

I'm totally in shock, but my husband just told me he got a raise! Not a lot, $1/hr, but still, when you don't expect one at all, every bit helps! He's been long overdue. Sadly this doesn't even cover the cost of living increases but we feel blessed because we know so many companies who are doing layoffs and so many people who don't even have jobs now.

Still need alot to make ends meet, but this was a plus for my day!

I know how you feel, Congratulations, and I bet it will help more than you think, my husband is one of those that is overworked and underpaid, and they keep promising him a salary adjustment, so we'll see if it happens, and hopefully prices will keep falling in the gas and food areas (at least the staples milk, bread and eggs) that will help stretch that budget further.

That's Awesome News Renita!!! Congrats to the hubby and family! Every little bit helps in these tough times! I am happy that I will be bringing in money now! It will make things a little easier for us and not cost additional gas cuz I'll be here at home. Even if it's not a huge raise, it's still something that will help benefit the family! Celebrate this weekend!
