Obama on 10/22/08: No Real America, or Fake America. No Pro America Parts of the Country and Anti America Parts of the country.

When did we become a country where having different views meant we were more or less "American?" It used to be that we were called a melting pot, and I took that to mean that all of our views were welcome as long as they did not take away someone else's rights.

It seems that the majority of us are sick of being made to feel as if we don't matter to the decision-makers, and that is why Obama is leading. We cannot let them take hope away from us.

This anti American crap started with the neocon slogan, "your either with me or against me."

Our founding fathers are probably turning over in their graves.

Not interested in watching. I have researched the canidate at length and he is the least qualified candiate to ever run for president, with positions that put our economy and security in even worse straights.

Not interested, then move on.

Barack Obama is about bringing people together instead of dividing them like mcCain and Palin caiming certain parts of the country are more American than others.

The contrast between the Obama and McCain campaigns is so dramatically stark: the one positive, the other negative. One concentrates on hope and change, the other tries to stoke fear and division. There is no choice in this election but to vote for Obama. I doubt very much that the MaryAnns have really researched Obama carefully and thoroughly if she thinks he is unqualified while McCain/Palin team ready to lead this country in any new direction.

On a lighter note, anyone see the Dailey Show the other night? His "correspondent" was in Wasilla interviewing the mayor, asking her (since she was touting the great responsibility involved in governing a village) how she dealt with local issues like the fire department (we don't have one), or social services (we don't have any) etc. Finally, since the mayor seemed to have no responsibilities at all, he asked her to describe a typical day. She fumbled a bit, then said that on Thursdays she had to write the checks for the town. Funny how our MSM spent all sorts of time there and never managed to prick Palin's little "experience" balloon!
