Hello everyone!

 

Well Chuck at Gather had told me that when the upgrade happened my picture problem should be fixed.

 For those who don't know about it there have been many people who either can't load my photos at all or it takes a couple minutes to load each picture.

 So would everyone be so kind as to see if my pictures are fixed now? I really hope they are!

 

I've also heard that there's been trouble with people receiving email notifications for comments so if you could come back here and let me know as well, that would be great!

 

Thanks again everyone for all the awesome support I've been having during this frustrating time!

Ummmm lmbo it says I have 252 pages of pictures! What in the world?! As of yesterday it was only 99 pages! That is just too weird!

You currently do not have any albums. You can organize your photos into albums or upload new photos and create an album.

Are you sure you lost your picture? I thought I lost mine for a minute, but they were all in my "other photos"(?) album I think.

Oh no you haven't lost your pictures... over on the left you will see "all albums" and "other photos" Just click on other photos and see what you get.

Sandi did you put all of your pictures into albums because when I click other pictures on yours there's nothing there. You have 1 page of albums though.

Alta.... but did you try looking at any of them to see if they would load for you? That was my problem before was that it took people like 2 minutes to view my pictures and comment.

Oh and I'm still not getting any notifications for any of these comments... no notifications for anything!

I AM however getting a bazillion notifications for every single group I'm a member of for some reason. Never had that before! How do I disable group notifications?! It's filling my inbox!

LOL I'm having the same thing with my inbox. I do see your photos. There are no albums but click on the link for other pictures and you have lots of wonderful photos! =)

OK, I went to check. It's kind of hard to tell as it seems Gather is quite slow right now. However, I clicked on one of the photos on your first page and it was STILL VERY slow. I left a comment and then clicked on a person's name at random above mine to look at her photos. It was Stephanie. I clicked on her link to "other photos" and the page opened but it remained blank for about 3 minutes. I finally clicked on Refresh and her photos appeared. When I clicked on one, it opened much faster than yours. I will check back later as I owe you lots of comments and see what the speed is when Gather is functioning better.

Cass: No I don't have any albums.... don't even know at this point if I'm even going to use that feature, lol. So were you able to load individual photos of mine?

Oh Wilma I got notifications for the one comment to my picture and the comment to my post here. Weird I'm still not getting any others!

I get about an 8 or 10 second delay before the photo appears.

From the sound of things (through pings and PM's) I don't think my photos are working still. I mean you can get to them through tags and spotlight but if you go through just the photos page then it takes forever to load! They said this upgrade would fix it but I guess not! This is such a bummer! :(

Oh and anyone that has commented on my photos... I'm not getting hardly any notifications so please just let me know through PM, ping or here approximately how many comments you left so I can come by and do the same for you. This is the most irritating part because as you all know It's very important to me that I at least match back comments and ratings! I feel guilty wondering how many have commented that I'm not aware of!

I seem to be getting notifications okay, but I'm struggling to see pictures. Albums work great, but other pictures gives me a blank page that times out before it changes, or else just one picture out of a page-ful will appear.
