I am still waiting (and not very well) to see if I won the photo contest. My husband said I was obsessing...maybe I am, but I really want to win! After viewing their webpage, I noticed a link that I hadn't before for a finalist gallery - there is only one picture in there right now and it is NOT mine! My husband said that the picture was very pretty - I gave him a scowl!
I have to get my dishes done and make one more trip into town to pick up a few items. My husband told me about a single mom who he works with that has just been switched to a really lousy schedule for a mom -2:30-11:30pm and she needs a babysitter for her 4 year old. My hubby wanted to know if it was something I wanted to do. He thinks the kid is a girl. The lady is only able to pay $10 a day and it would be 5 days a week. I am not sure about it. First we don't have a large play area since most of the house is closed off for the winter, we keep the temp real cool to save money (65 degrees), we have two large dogs, and I don't have a place to put her down for sleep. My husband said that I could set up the toddler bed for her, but I don't even know where we would put it. Plus, when we add in the cost of food, I won't be making $10 a day, probably closer to $7. I won't be able to do my secret shops or spend as much time on the internet so I would loose that extra income. I don't know what to say - but right now I am thinking no. However, if I could figure out the other stuff (secret shopping and me time) then I might consider it. Like my husband said - she is a single mom and she isn't making any more than my husband is and that is not much.
So, that is how my day is going...How is your day going?

I wouldn't watch the little girl, just because it is going to be a lot of work for such little pay & it will mess with your evening hours.
The weather didn't turn out as nasty as they had forecast. There was actually sunshine for a decent portion of the day-- still chill and blustery, though.
