My Best Friend's Birthday!

Today is my best friend's Birthday! (Happy Birthday Fran!)
She is NOT a Gather member, she does not really use her computer much at all.

We are having her and hubby over for dinner tonight. We are at the age, when gifts are hard to think of ...lol. Do not need more *knickknacks*. Sometimes I do gift certificates for restaurants or a massage, but this year I am cooking her B-Day dinner.
They are arriving 5:30/6:00
I will have Cosmopolitans waiting *hee hee*
I decided not to have an appetizer though. (Just booze!)
Menu:
Roasted Lemon Chicken (called engagement chicken)
Roasted whole potatoes with parsley butter
I am going to stir fry some asparagus and snap sugar peas together
Wheat dinner rolls
Dessert:
Angel Food cake with Breyer's Peach Ice Cream

We are all "trying" to watch what we eat, so I am trying not to cook a very heavy meal.

Thinking I might stop and pick up fresh flowers for the table and will set it nicely with candles. 
I did put together a little gift basket for her...Some really good foot cream, a Diamond Creek Candle (the scent is called Gift Basket) and the basket its self can be reused by her.
I am sure we will have a very nice evening!
