Chandler and Stephy make dessert... a photo essay!

Last night the kids wanted something special for dessert.  I looked through the pantry and found a package of cake mix that I had totally forgotten about.  I actually bought it on clearance after last Halloween! LOL!

They did EVERYTHING by themselves, except putting it into the oven and taking it out of the oven.  Chandler read and followed all the directions and Stephy helped him as much as she could by adding ingredients and mixing the batter.

Oh, that's so great and brings back memories. I used to do a lot of baking as a child, too. My mom was an excellent cook and taught me a lot of things.

They are so cute...I think it's great that they get along so well and enjoy doing things together. Enjoy it while it lasts! I remember when I no longer liked having my little sister "tagging along."

Now I cherish the time dearly...but I still remember!
