Angela's Halloween Costume (photos)

I finally got Angela away from being a superhero...yeah! Unfortunately, we didn't have much to spend on a Halloween costume, so I ended up having to make it (and cheaply too).

We went by this photo and the video clip I found on line that showed the dark pink skirt.

Red hair spray -- $1.88 Walmart

White Scarf -- 59 cents  Thrift store

Bone -- $1.00 for pack of 6 at the Dollar Store

 

Pink long teen t-shirt -- $3.50 Walmart clearance

Pink skirt (rolled up) -- $5.00 Walmart Clearance

 Black puffy paint -- $1.29 Hobby Lobby

 

 

 

It may not be the best costume, but the price was right...LOL.

It's wonderful! Far better than an off-the-rack! My kids ALWAYS had homemade costumes. WHy? Because they were unlike any other! One year one of them was a 3-legged man! They quite often won the most-creative category. I wonder if I still have my book with ideas....

I think it's pretty cool. I'm never clever enough to come up with anything like that, so I always end up having to spend more money. Blech. Maybe I'll try to be all witty and creative next year. I was hoping we would have money after Halloween so I could buy costumes on sale for next year. We never do though. Blech.
